AOC: "Now the coverup is out in the open. Everyone involved will have to answer for this. Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, whole admin. Protecting a bunch of r**ists & pe**philes because they have money, and power. Bondi should resign TONIGHT."
If Donald Trump is OK with Pam Bondi making him look *this* guilty, the Epstein Files must have lots of outrageously
damning evidence about him.

Yes, it’s illegal. Like changing it to Department of War, like ten thousand other things. Part of the Trump strategy is to break the law and convey “the rule of law is weak and feminine and laughable and should be overridden by Our Guy.” Trump is fundamentally anti-law.

The DOJ is conducting a coverup.
DOJ broke the law today by refusing to produce all the Epstein files. It also broke the law by redacting information other than to protect victims. Yet, the corporate media is acting that DOJ did us a huge favor.

Now, more than ever, help build independent, pro-democracy media. hubs.ly/Q03CbHTt0

I still can't believe they're trying to make a war happen out of thin air. Not just their abrogation of Congress's role in formally declaring a war -- that's been a slippery slope for decades -- but their total unwillingness even to go through the motions of drumming up public support.

"Our investigation developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt that President Trump engaged in a criminal scheme to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and to prevent the lawful transfer of power."

Awful here is Elon Musk's destruction of USAID combined with Marco Rubio's unwillingness at the US State Department to respond to warnings from the World Food Program about the humanitarian catastrophe, mass hunger, violence and death that would result. Tragic and totally avoidable.
NEW: Without USAID funding to help buy food for refugees, the World Food Program rushed to prioritize families based on need, determining that only half the population would get food.

Refugees learned which half they were in from a number stamped on the back of their ration card.

Forced by a narcissistic president who promotes conflict.
Beyond disgusting.
The US Institute for Peace is an independent agency established by our Congress 41 years ago to promote conflict resolution.

These are real pictures from Washington DC this morning.

The US president has forced the institute’s leadership to rename it after himself.

The US Administration has banned Americans from *adopting babies* from much of the African continent.

Adopting.

Babies.

What trait do those babies have that, when they grow up as fully American adults, would make them a threat to our country in any form?
On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

Unbelievable. This would be a terrible blow to American science, writ large. It would decimate not only climate research, but also the kind of weather, wildfire, and disaster research that has underpinned half a century of progress in prediction, early warning, and increased resilience.
Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

"[Elon probably] knew it would be horrifying to others. But he decided that it was a better approach to shut it down, fire everybody, shut them out, and then go rebuild."

A test of whether the U.S. can recover its moral health after all this is whether we hold Elon Musk, genocidaire, accountable.
This is horrible. Trump and his crew shut down USAID, which has led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, and they had no idea what they were doing or what would be the consequences. Completely immoral.

2. The idea that Venezuela has stolen land from the United States is so laughably stupid on its face that even some of his base is like 🤨

3. It’s always about oil.
