The US Administration has banned Americans from *adopting babies* from much of the African continent.

On that last post: I genuinely cannot think of any good-faith reason to bar international adoptions from those 39 countries. Under this new ban, consulates will refuse adoption visas for any baby from Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nigeria, or any of the 39 other countries.

I’ve seen this cartoon for many years and it’s always touched me. Last week we had to say goodbye way too soon to our sweet boy.
I wanted to personalize it for him with who I think was waiting to take him across the rainbow bridge.

Questions like this remind me of That 70's Show when Ford was visiting Point Place and Red Foreman was selected to ask the question. The local party provided the question to ask, "What was your favorite parade?"
Imagine being the journalist who asked this question and then looking at yourself in the mirror at night. I will never get it.

Even if you support massive deportation operations, under no circumstances should ANYONE be ok with US citizens being forcibly removed from their homes and detained without explanation.
