I need to speak about harassment for a moment, as some people seem to need a reminder that they aren't the ones who decide what is and is not harassment to another person. Been holding a lot of this in for awhile and I'm through with being silent on some of my experiences.

It’s been 30 years since I arrived in America. As a 12 year old refugee, I could have never imagined I would have the opportunity to represent the community that welcomed me with open arms 🥰. I'll be forever grateful for the American people who gave me and my family a second chance at life.

I wrote a book about this, called "How to Talk to Your Son about Fascism" -- and while you have to be serious, you do have to use empathy. Brandishing a baseball bat at a kid will not help, but "boys will be boys" is the language of the enemy.
