Watch out, Mario! Objects in your line of sight may appear to be 3D!

The Famicom 3D System, released in 1987. Worked via active shutters and stereoscopic 3D, and was a commercial failure with just seven games released.

“Where do I start with [particular comic]?”

“You pick up an issue and read it.”

We know how it sounds, but it’s the best answer. There are plenty of suggestions, and recommendations, and hidden gem issues. That will all come, for sure. But to start? Just dive in.
I’m sort of torn about big two comics discourse when it comes to “jumping on” or “where to start” because it feels like the whole beauty of the scene is that it never ends and you just get on the ride wherever. I feel like reducing that to bog-standard continuity would be a shame.

Biggest gaming pet peeve: PAUSE is an important fucking function. It shouldn’t mean “skip this cutscene,” it shouldn’t mean “blast music louder than normal gameplay,” it should fucking pause the game—no matter what the game is doing—and unpause right there when pressed again. Even during cutscenes.

1. For at least 10 years, Pepsi has conspired with Walmart to force up grocery prices. That’s the shocking evidence made public today in an unsealed FTC lawsuit. The suit was abandoned in May by the Trump FTC just before it was to be un-redacted. We went to court to get it unsealed & won.

AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone

- tech is now more expensive
- you cannot trust most media of reality anymore
- programs barely function
- energy prices
- literal psychosis
- your voice can be literally stolen for evil
- more spyware

but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

Online age verification isn't the same as a quick ID flash: it's surveillance. These systems collect your data and undermine your ability to anonymously access and discuss sensitive topics online. www.eff.org/deeplinks/2...

This also retroactively makes Gameboy Color an early PDA.
Super Mario Bros. Deluxe includes a calendar that goes all the way to the year 3000. Ironically, this reaches much further than typical modern computer and smartphone calendars. As such, even now Super Mario Bros. Deluxe remains a good option to keep track of far future dates.
