A gift for you: If you're a parent who is regretting letting the Elf on a Shelf into your home, here is a duty reassignment order you can show to your kids that the Elf was needed elsewhere. Printable png 8X10 300dpi so it can fit well on an A4 for non North American printers.

Since becoming a parent I have not, in fact, understood the parents who say “if you were a parent you’d understand” about vaccine hesitancy. Being in charge of this fragile little miracle has me saying things like “give her all the vaccines. Turn this baby into a pincushion” to doctors

ACIP member Dr. Cody Meissner:

"'Do no harm' is a moral imperative. We are doing harm by changing this wording. And I vote no."
RFK Jr.’s CDC panel: No more hepatitis B vaccine for some newborns

Toddlers are like little scientists. But sadly they mostly like to run unethical sleep deprivation experiments on themselves and their parents.

Had a dream i was taking the train home but then it was wrong and it kept going. It finally stopped at a McDonald's and everyone got off and it was a special event with Ronald and everyone got to make their own food in the kitchen. Then my family came to rescue me....

Whose advice should US parents follow since ACIP is no longer legitimate?

My answer is in the article below.

“I would follow the American Academy of Pediatrics advice, as well as the Vaccine Integrity Project…The one group I wouldn’t trust is ACIP”.

The thing about all the anti-trans sports panic: people argue this stuff while talking about elite level sports, but because there aren't actually a ton of superhuman trans women blowing away the competition, the people actually affected end up being those who play sports for fun/socialization

If JKR is willing to destroy every women's and girls' organisation and institution in this country in her crusade against trans rights, make her fucking do it. Call her bluff. Full juridicial kamikaze. Show everyone how much these ghouls really care about women's and girls' spaces.
All these statements being made with "utmost regret and sadness" fundamentally don't change the fact that these organisations are all folding to appease one vexatious bigot because she has infinite money, instead of doing the right thing and sticking by their guns and ignoring the Supreme Court.
