Question for Jews: why do you follow rabbinic Judaism instead of the Bete Israel Judaism?

It has always been interesting to me the existence of a pre Talmud Judaism that checked off every criterion of second temple faith. I was reading Kaplans works and it's interesting how this foundational community is so little spoken about. Shouldn't the truth be measured not by survival alone but by fidelity to the original commandments? What principle legitimizes Rabbinic Judaism to dismiss a community that never abandoned the Temple covenant?

Israelis don't want to be Palestinians, and Palestinians don't want to be Israelis. 2 nations are competing for the region, and merging them seems... unlikely. So, establishing a Palestinian state in the WB and Gaza, withdrawing Israeli settlements from the WB and mutual recognition is the way out.

If someone calls for a two-state solution you should push them to be specific abt why they don’t support one state. It always comes down to one of three things:
- they think Palestinians are subhuman
- they support judeosupremacy
- they’ve actually never really thought about it before

Source: Gaza deal expected in hours, IDF to completely withdraw from Gaza City
The Gaza cease-fire and hostage deal agreement is expected to be signed in the coming hours, sources briefed on the matter told Haaretz.

"I hear it is very close. The withdrawal maps have been updated, and Israel will withdraw from most cities other than Rafah," a source said. "The red line is those [prisoners] who participated in or planned the October 7 attack."

According to the official, Israeli forces will completely withdraw from Gaza City. The source has not responded to Haaretz inquiries on whether Palestinian prisoner Marwan Barghouti will be among those released.
