I've said this before, but there are two kinds of people in the world.

- People who have suffered or been traumatized by something, and think it's unfair unless everyone else also suffers
- People who have suffered or been traumatized by something and don't want anyone else to experience that.

This beautiful young man is the very best of us. The kind face of this incredibly tiny small town of a city that we love so much. And those bastards are trying to make him feel less-than? Trying to make ALL of us feel less-than?

To hell with them. Cuomo and Adams and all their corporate supporters.

I'm still seeing people suggest secession as a solution and bitching about red states.

There are multiple problems with this but the biggest is that it means abandoning our people. Even if states skew red, there are still folks there who need equal rights and our protection.

It never occurred to them, raising children on hate, filling them with wrath, that it could come back to bite them. That their little monsters could become big monsters & those monsters wouldn't care who they hurt. Because that's what they were taught.

That their needs are outsized & must be met.

Astonishing how fast and easy it is to bring down a global superpower if you’re really committed to destroying its political system, tanking its economy, killing as many of its people as possible through disease and removing medical care, and destroying its universities, and nobody stops you.

I just sent this out.

The Jewish people have moral frameworks for this moment.

It is a choice not to heed them.

Please let us meet this moment, let us see the shattered Temple around us, right now, and our responsibility to it.

Opinion | Tens of thousands of Palestinians are at risk for starvation. But the real famine is the lack of pro-Israel voices on America’s campuses.

It is ironic that they cut the budget for nursing homes so they could increase the budget to arrest many of the people who work in nursing homes.

A bit overkill on the nursing home attacks, really.

This Army birthday I’m thinking of Medal of Honor recipient Pvt Henry Johnson of the 369th NY National Guard (known as the Harlem Hellfighters). The 369th served more days in the WWI trenches than an other US unit, took more casualties also. DOD just stripped Johnson’s name off Ft. Polk.

and i told her that the attack on senator padilla and the murders in minnesota are just the beginning; that more violence is coming, and burying your head isn’t an option.

If you burn down a forest, you don't miss out on lumber for just that season. You have to replant all the trees, nurture them, and wait for them to grow.

The science and research budget cuts happening now are wanton, senseless arson. Recovery, if it ever happens, will take generations.
