La secundaria de Soule, ambientada cuando Eddie y Venom recién buscaban ser antihéroes, estuvo bien, pero es más para nostálgicos de esa etapa, que para mí.
No se nada, aparte de lo básico, de Knull, pero supongo que terminaré leyendo la mini de Ewing.

I couldn't get into them either. I feel like if I had been a teen it would have been different, but I need more than just Murder Man protagonists/antiheroes these days.

Anytime there's talk of a Blake's 7 remake I think about Dark Matter (2015) which is the most Blake's 7-esque thing I've ever seen. They're antiheroes! Except the ones who are accidental criminals! And the one who goes all-out wicked! But sadly not that many people watched it

Morcant was pretty good for her role, but her part in the story is brief.
Vondam was excellent imo
Are Alpharael and Haliya antiheroes? Kinda? I liked them too.
But to your point, all of these are very self contained in their stories. Not grand characters like Bolas.

It may have started with them not considering the consequences of their actions, but they’ve had ample opportunities to learn from their initial mistakes, and they’re choosing not to change. I wish it was more complicated than that, but they aren’t morally grey antiheroes. They’re just bad people.

Hm, "antiheroes misread by dummies as people to admire" is a trope beloved by MAGA (see: Breaking Bad) but that doesn't mean the underlying story is conservative/reactionary.

I’ve always been on the side of heroic heroes rather than antiheroes, but I have to admit that characters like those in Tales or Berseria or Soul Hackers 2 make for great party dynamics. Compared to, say, Dragon Quest…. 😶🌫️
