A new film on Prime Video in 2025 made by professionals really shouldn't evoke such "Rollergator"/"Fun In Balloonland" levels of confusion and screaming "Why does this exist?!?", but here we are.
I watched the new War of the Worlds movie last night and it was as stupidly hilarious as I hoped it would be. I've always wanted a film adaptation of the classic H.G. Wells novel that's actually if the confused grandma meme was a movie :D

Watched the next RiffTrax Presents from Ian Potter and myself. No idea when it's coming out, but I can say with total honesty that you have never seen a film like this.
If you showed this movie to the director of Rollergator, he'd say "This seems kind of amateurish. And as for the acting..!"

The director of Rollergator knew his dialogue so well that he covered most of it us with guitar noodling, and I respect him for that.

Plus even with them I can't sit through a lot of the Z-grade movies they've done the last few years. My GOD Rollergator is unwatchable.
