This is a flat out lie by Elon. Ashley St. Clair only said she apologized for her anti trans rhetoric and regretted it. Elon took that at "she's going to trans a 1 year old" that he was fighting paternity of last year. He's punishing her for simply apologizing to trans people and lying about it.

My last brush with this sentiment also added irritation at “woke anti-racist” rhetoric in a historical piece. As if there haven’t *always* been people to say, “Actually, bigotry is bad.” They seem to take comfort in the idea of an era when they could have been openly racist.
