#womanface
I hate when they use the term appropriation it reminds me of that "womanface" nonsense floating around

I know they are. What I said was she's not even using the pretense a lot of these people have used to try to worm their way into the public discourse: that they are the *real* leftists and feminists and "the TRAs" are the reactionary male chauvinists who are doing "womanface"

Peak misogyny:
Adult white male calling himself "girl" mansplains why blackface is offensive, but womanface isn't.

I'm not buying it.

womanface

I feel like the sex horse might upset the terfs more somehow

('Womanface'😫 but it's a horse)

I'm afraid this is womanface 😤

I also don’t put the blame or expectation on individuals regarding how their gender presentation conforms to society. Its not up to trans people to be the role models for dismantled gender roles tbh, and the TERFs who think trans women are “womanface” aren’t really engaging with things structurally

There's something really ugly about the term "womanface", which I've heard almost exclusively from UK transphobes.

Ok, so bear-snowman with multiple eyes. Stick with a dog paw on the end of it. Womanface-dog body but like, multiple dogs? And of course, seagull dog

the transphobic term 'womanface' makes a mockery of the racism at work behind blackface.

terfs don't get nearly enough criticism for that shit.

"womanface" to be precise

scotus reading @taliabhatt.itch.io 's essay "'Racebending' and 'Womanface'" but using it to Become Worse isn't what i had on my bingo card
Honestly one of the worst, most disturbing paragraphs — on the basis of process, substance, and effect — I’ve read in a Supreme Court order or opinion in a very long time.

It’s a horrible catch-22. Try to preserve your dignity by keeping a low profile and they will post blurry pictures of you that treat you like a monstrous cryptid. Pose for a proper photo and you’ll be accused of narcissism/doing “womanface”
I think it speaks volumes in these cases about who is being intimidated and bullied given that pictures of trans women are often blurry candids snapped by journos outside the court whereas the cis women are in posed group photographs.
the absolute gall of these bigots to complain about someone allegedly giving them evil looks AFTER THEY HAVE DECIDED SHE IS A DANGER TO THEM AND THEY'VE TRIED TO GET HER FIRED AND/OR BANNED FROM USING THE BATHROMS.

"Womanface" is made-up and fake: It's just transphobes getting angry over others wearing makeup to look good.

Transphobes have straight up told me "womanface" is worse than blackface, which only exposes their racism and desire to gatekeep make-up for some unknown reason. 🤔

Ironically, it’s the comic drag (Milton Berle, Monty Python et al) that is closer to the “womanface” that the TERFs claim to find so offensive.
November 2, 2025 at 6:51 PM
The reason “womanface” is not an appropriate analogue to “blackface” is that the original perpetrators of blackface were not trying to *identify* with black people. There was no genuine respect; they were merely mocking them.
November 2, 2025 at 6:50 PM
That seems weird coming from a community that compared drag to “womanface”

2. If womanhood, as they claim, is distinctly biological, then it is impossible to "capture" womanhood through personal expression, making "womanface" nothing more than a baseless sex-conformist insult hurled at people who exercise their right to personal identity.

"Womanface" is a comparison akin to blackface (the act of portraying oneself as a CARICATURE of a black person for the purpose of mocking them.)

One of their core positions is that everything regarding the "adult human female" experience is inherently biological(and NOT cultural.)
November 1, 2025 at 8:08 PM
"Womanhood" is the cultural experiences attached to people who society sees as women.

"Womanface" is the idea that that someone whom society identifies as a man can misappropriate womanhood by adopting culturally feminine presentations, or identifying themself as a woman.
November 1, 2025 at 8:08 PM
Mind you, this definition makes no claim of any cultural implications, or social constructs.

"Womanface" and "womanhood", however, are *social constructs*, not biological realities, much to the chagrin of the sexfundamentalist ideologues.
