Any serious company that's dedicated to actually making things and providing services instead of manipulating their own stock will recognize that "AI" is a dead end.

Once again, begging people to read that story about the time eBay criminally harassed an elderly blogging couple because the CEO lost his goddamn mind, and nobody around was willing, or able, to stop and go “wait, we’re mailing these people pigs heads. WTF are we doing?!”
There's a point, well below a billion dollars, where the amount of money you have lets you rid yourself of anyone who can be a check on your worst impulses, and replace them with people who tell you those worst impulses are somehow valorous. Rare is the billionaire with someone to tell them "no."
You can look at the Epstein files and conclude that only bad people have billions of dollars, but I think it’s also possible that having billions of dollars cauterizes your humanity

My cuckoo clock skull and violin skull were complex sculpture projects, and they were both early in my paper mache days so I really had no idea what I was doing! I would do these so much more easily now! The clock face could open, btw! But otherwise, no moving parts or complicated design involved.

Here's one of the craziest things I've ever made; for the krewe's 20th anniversary I made this mechanical skull mask with little marching figures representing all of the active krewe members. I made the gears from scratch and everything!
