In 2020, the public health information ecosystem was reconfigured around pundits: scientists or doctors who are not reporters and don’t know how to navigate, e.g., false statements from an unreliable source. It’s more important than ever to focus on following actual journalists:
i don’t post on politics much myself lately because there isn’t anything i can add that other people haven’t already said and i am too emotionally burned out to be clever but i do feel like something like nuremburg is way too light for the type of evil things we’re seeing today
