ANOTHER fully suspended sentence courtesy of JUDGE MARTIN NOLAN who "couldn't find any aggravating factors". Is swerving without explanation & killing a person with their car not THE aggravating factor? Was the swerving ever explained? Were they on their phone? www.rte.ie/news/2025/11...

A person rolled their car into my teenage son a fortnight ago. It was broad daylight and the driver was looking down while their car was rolling forward. I know, because I was yelling, trying to get their attention. Drivers who don't see us are often not looking.
My son hasn't cycled since
👀 Can you see me now?

The importance of visibility on our roads cannot be understated, particularly for vulnerable road users including pedestrians, cyclists, e-scooter drivers and motorcyclists.

Abysmal, mindless, utterly zombified. You can't even call it policymaking because that implies a degree of thought which simply isn't present. Pretty soon they might actually hit Cameron's 'tens of thousands' target and then they'll shit themselves with horror at the consequences.
PM describes net migration of 205k as "a step in the right direction". His govt has no public position on a sustainable level of immigration is, nor any known process to decide what, why & how. Starmer is now implying he wants it significantly lower

You only really see how fundamentally broken Britain is when you take the time to look.

Example: international postage. We pay much MUCH more to send letters to the rest of the world than they do to send them to us.

UK to anywhere else: £3.40
Other countries to UK: 68p to £2.15

For anyone panicking about the EV pay per mile. I’ve just done the sums on our average mileage and home charging (yes, I know it’s more for public).

15000 per annum at an avg 45mpg and £1.45 a litre = £2194

15000 per annum at avg 3.4mpk and 7p charging = £309
15000x3p = £450
Saving £1435
