Democratic politicians need to stop accepting Trump’s white nationalist premise that immigration is bad and proudly and loudly make a positive case for why America’s identity and history as a nation of immigrants is so important.

My Senator told me FedSoc judges keep ignoring his unambiguous laws so I asked how many laws he has and he said he just goes to the Congress and gets a new law afterwards so I said it sounds like he’s just feeding unambiguous laws to FedSoc judges and then his chief of staff started crying.

the House J6 committee sent Steve Bannon to prison for four months for contempt of Congress

we should be judging all future Democratic candidates on their commitment to sending him back to prison, for life, for seditious conspiracy

with lots of other people too - starting with Stephen Miller
I'm not an 'there won't be elections' doomer. I'm a long-term doomer. I think the pendulum will swing back and Dems will regain power and then face an even more hostile press than before and won't have the votes to restructure the courts and we'll be in this awful cycle for the rest of my life.

god's honest truth right here
learn an instrument, join a band, spend your teenage years and your twenties killing your bad brain cells and your eardrums with a bunch of other dopey stoners from a wide variety of backgrounds and gender preferences, you come out on the other side with only good brain cells, it's science
If it weren't for a positive chance encounter at 19, I could have easily fallen into that. We men really need to make an effort to put the young dudes we encounter onto positive paths. Don't ask me how, I don't know.

Birthright citizenship is probably not integral to liberal democracy, but it is integral to *American* liberal democracy. Our vision of what we are as a country, as a nation beyond an ethnicity, requires it.

gee I wonder if they're gonna wanna talk to this guy, the only person to speak out about illegal orders so far that the administration has quietly decided to *not* make public death threats against for some weird reason*

okay folks, a reminder that

1. if they didn't succeed in kicking this off on J6 then they definitely don't have the juice for that now, and

2. as with J6, the correct response to credible threats of J6 II is to call & email w/the evidence to the applicable govt & LEO folks and STAY THE FUCK HOME.
that's cool, man, but have you tried the taste of a refreshing matcha latte

I'll remind everyone that this is the same Minneapolis PD that didn't arrest Derek Chauvin for four days which led to the largest anti-police protest movement in American history and also their 3rd precinct building getting burned down

i think to understand the meaning of the birthright citizenship clause to the framers of the 14th amendment, you have to understand significance of dred scott to the civil war republican party. dred scott wasn't just a bad ruling, it was understood as a rejection of the declaration itself.

that's right
Yeah. All of the strikes have been just as illegal as if Iran sunk a Disney cruise because it suspected passengers carried weed.

But this one is so blatant—helpless survivors on an already-damaged ship—that it's impossible to fabricate any rationale. It's a crack worth widening.
I get this but plenty of people had been calling all the strikes murder and it hadn't broken through. This revelation did and put even Republicans on the defensive and willing to do some oversignt. My sense is that any crack the regime's implacability is a foothold.

The subheading of this essay is a powerful note to strike:

"The real danger is not the fog of war itself, but leaders who hide behind it when the picture is already clear."

The author is Brigadier General (Ret.) Donald C. Bolduc, former U.S. Army Special Forces Commander
The Bolduc Brief: The Impact of the Fog of War on Military Decision-Making
