Chuck Schumer just announced demands on DHS to avoid shutdown:
1. End roving patrols, tighten rules on warrants
2. Enforce accountability & unified code of conduct for agents

There are *already* standards on much of this.

You can't be a libertarian and an authoritarian at the same time. "Don't tread on me, but definitely tread on that guy" is not an honest political position. That's not any kind of philosophy, it's just being an asshole. The only consistent narrative through-line there is that you're an asshole.

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week
