Probably the single most important rule of writing is that you need to know the rules well enough to know when and why you're breaking them. Doing it by accident is almost never going to work out; doing it on purpose and with reason is the key to all great writing, imo
Essentially none of the actual best legal writing follows the cookie-cutter formula that they try to teach you to write in 🤷♂️

It’s very considerate of them to state that it’s a bribe so clearly. It will make the prosecutions of both sides of the transaction much easier

I added chili powder and cinnamon to my candied sweet potatoes. It’s still a dessert that does not belong on the dinner table of a respectable adult, but….. wow it improves the dish.
I am in the Midwest and I’m about to experience something for the first time ever. I am from New Mexico. This is exotic and it is thrilling
