No, Richard. We should be raising taxes on you and your wealthy mates. Those are our assets, not yours and not the current National government's.

HAVING THIS ON BY DEFAULT IS A CRIME
new iOS update is sleek and also defaults in Music to “you must want songs transition as they would on a dance floor.” so many people will wonder why they can’t just listen to an album. Apps > Music > Song Transitions > toggle off.

(TLDR, when you take the whole year & non office work into account, the effect of NZ's summer holiday model (combining, unlike the northern hemisphere, Christmas, summer, and the longest school holiday) on overall productivity is basically nil)

It's a lovely day on the seabed, and you are a horrible goosefish
This picture has been making the rounds again, and is being misidentified again.

This is a GOOSEFISH.

This is NOT a tasselled wobbegong shark.

It’s a great pic. I get why people are very excited about it. But it’s as easy to give it the right name as the wrong one.

Clear, factual reporting that takes the time to research whether a reckon is actually real shouldn't be rare, but it is really feels like it increasingly is. Ricketts explainer delivers again.

NZ does do the summer break differently - and there are some fair reasons for that
The make up of New Zealand’s economic activity may shift temporarily over the Christmas/summer period, but there is no evidence of a drop.

You know who doesn't rush to buy wi-fi-enabled "smart" appliances? IT security people. I had one regale me with a story about a "smart" heater that could be remotely made to bypass its own thermostat and keep heating. Ideal for burning your enemy's house down.

Ok, so what I want from my house is no adverts. I want a fridge that makes stuff cold, an oven that makes stuff hot, a washing machine that makes stuff wet and a dryer that makes stuff dry. I don't want it to be smart, or wifi connected, I want it to be mechanically sound with a 20+ year life span.
A UK woman named Carol was hospitalized after a ‘PLURIBUS’ ad on her Samsung smart fridge sparked a psychotic episode.

The targeted promo read “We’re sorry we upset you, Carol” - mirroring the Apple TV+ thriller's plot - leading her to believe someone was messaging her directly.

What makes a good player?
- attendance
- attention
- absorbance
- adventurousness
- allyship

Attendance: communicate when you'll be there and when you won't. "I'm looking forward to the game!" helps your GMs morale and inspires other players. Be as easy to plan for as circumstance lets.
