Holy hell. DHS just openly stated that its agents use “reasonable suspicion” to make ARRESTS. This is blatantly unconstitutional. The Supreme Court is clear that you need probable cause to arrest someone, as opposed to stop them to ask them a question or two. This is huge b/c…

Just so everyone is aware, the same Trump regime that is claiming to be “tough on crime” has refused to release victims’ services grants for the next fiscal year.

Federal funding for programs that serve survivors of DV, trafficking, and other forms of violence runs out at the end of the month.

If my writing about autism does anything, whether it be in my books, my columns or my reported stories, I hope it advances the idea that autistic people are whole human beings as they are with legitimate needs and inner lives that deserve to be told the same as other stories.
