Some guy from Embra. No longer does a media thing for money. Proud Scottish Green and lefty Scotpol pipedog gang (sadly depleted) member.
To which I'd add: i) it creates a suspicion that people who actually need glasses are equally noncey, so THANKS FOR THAT; ii) hopefully anyone seen wearing Ray-Bans from now on will be shunned and mocked; iii) have chewing gum ready at all times to stick over those lenses.

If you've seen the Sunday Times today you'll know Labour Together were secretly hiring people to investigate journalists.

Sadly you won't know that The National broke this story six months ago, since our work is not credited at all.

Even if you sort of knew the Dems were a bit shit, I promise you that the Pelosi ramble in this is the equal of any of Biden or Trump's deranged non-sequiturs. Also "politics pub"? Limmy wants a word.

The fact that Four Women Scotland are celebrating having driven Dr Upton out of the NHS should tell the media everything about their actual aims

Nothing but sympathy for Beth Upton. Never did a thing wrong but had her life completely upended, her character assassinated and her bins publicly raked through to the point she's had to leave the country for the crime of simply existing. And still the bigots won't leave her alone.

So I carved off a lean chunk of the steak before cooking it,

And made sure to set it on the edge of my plate, after I was done.

And then to look the other way. To let her steal it.

I got her her favorite thing, for her birthday -

Crime.

Every single person involved in this hate campaign and everyone who has supported them - Anas Sarwar, for example - needs to be run out of public life the way they've run Dr Upton out the NHS. Being trans isn't a risk factor for people around you; this obsessive hate absolutely is.
Susan Smith of For Women Scotland is quoted in this piece saying that Dr Upton leaving the NHS will be "a relief to female patients."

The employment tribunal found that Upton had done nothing wrong! She was completely innocent of any kind of harassment!

I just went on LBC to talk about Rothermere’s attempt to buy the Telegraph titles. The long and the short of it for me is that while it would philosophically be a terrible thing for him to control 49% of the British newspaper market, the idea that there is a plurality of views is a joke anyway.

Their internal memo: “We will launch during a dynamic political environment where many civil society groups that we would expect to attack us would have their resources focused on other concerns.”

I regularly look through a company's spam folder to check for false positives and bin hundreds of scams. Among all those many thousands of emails, not one has bothered trying to sell AI stuff. If even the scammers know nobody wants it, what does that say about the big firms betting the farm on it?
