Unfriendly reminder, AI is being used to destroy trust. Do not normalize the use of AI. AI can not reliably enhance videos or low-quality images.

This is the quiet replacement of reality. Do not let this be normalized.

[first day as a regime propagandist] so our guys will be hiding from the camera like someone's put them in time out. the detainees will gaze forward in defiance and have luxurious hair
Scrolling through the photos of Pam Bondi's "Minnesota rioters," it's just hero after hero. Every photo includes a cowardly DHS agent with their back to the camera.

Bondi thinks she's going to win the propaganda war with this shit, but it's never been more clear that they're losing.

It’s so weird. You run against the Democratic Party and then Democrats don’t support you. Who could have foreseen?
#IL09 News: Congressman Jesús ‘Chuy’ García endorses Daniel Biss. Plenty of progressives are getting behind Biss as opposed to Kat Abughazaleh in the primary to replace Jan Schakowsky.

Don't worry about losing your job to a younger employee because AI is guaranteeing that this is gonna be the least educated generation in history.
Students are taking new measures, such as dumbing down their work, spying on themselves and using AI “humanizer” programs, to beat accusations of cheating with artificial intelligence.
To avoid accusations of AI cheating, college students are turning to AI

I am once again asking people how many polling places they think exist in the US (hell, how many polling places they think exist *just in Dem/purple areas*) and how many DHS employees there are
This needs to happen at the very least

Pretty valid point to bring up when discussing the consistency of these rulings.

Turns out that Bari Weiss's all hands at CBS today is to announce she's bringing on some anti-vax guys and Niall Ferguson. www.axios.com/2026/01/27/b...

The current astronomical ICE budget was established by a bill that passed in 2025 with precisely zero (0) democratic votes. But this person, who knows this, wants you to blame democrats for it anyway. You can judge why for yourself.
The ICE budget is so astronomical you have to imagine they will keep inventing new ways to use it and the mission creep has only begun. The budget will create its own permanent constituency of overreach on its own. Thanks Dems.

This morning, I recorded a video on TikTok about why DHS’s arguments for the power to enter homes without judicial warrants in immigration cases are bunk.

Nine hours later, TikTok still says my video is “under review,” and can’t be shared.

Well, here’s a link:

idk. I find this Trump to be more like a roomba, as someone mentioned. He goes as far as he can until he encounters serious institutional resistance, and then backs up and goes somewhere else, and maybe tries to circle back around once or twice just to check.

I’ll say it.

The NFL should postpone tomorrow’s championship games.

When there is a masked secret police force killing peaceful protesters and observers in the streets, it’s time to take the biggest, sturdiest, and loudest stands.

It’s no comfort, but the official DHS line being “he can be killed by masked agents of the state because he had a legal gun” is such an interesting new frontier in how Trump has made the conservative movement very publicly and embarrassingly abandon every principal it once claimed.

I have spent my entire adult life being lectured by Republican politicians and conservative legal movement types about how important it is to preserve the sacred constitutional right to self-defense of *specifically this person* and then secret police murdered him in the street
Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara says that the victim was a 37-year-old white man and US citizen with no criminal record and that he was a legally permitted gun owner.
