Feels like Hasbro is happier lisencing their property to Funko Pops or anybody with a few dollars and cram as much crossover into Magic the Gathering instead of making toys

Might be easier now that they wouldn’t be alone.

I don’t know Mr Stitt but his understanding of reciprocity is what all government officials should keep in mind and NOT do what they wouldn’t want others to do to them.

So, fun fact: about 94 years ago (1931); Texas and Oklahoma essentially declared interstate war on eachother over a bridge/border toll-rights dispute that involved their National Guards and martial law. It was called the "Red River Bridge War" and lasted two weeks.

Oklahoma’s Republican governor criticizes guard deployment. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/09/u...
Gov. Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma, a Republican and the chairman of the National Governors Association, on Thursday criticized the deployment of Texas National Guard troops to Illinois as a violation of his beliefs in federalism and “states’ rights.”

His comments, in an interview with The New York Times, marked the first time a Republican governor has questioned the interstate deployment of National Guard troops over a governor’s objections. Gov. JB Pritzker of Illinois and other Democratic elected officials have been strongly critical of the move and have implored Republican governors to join the opposition.

Mr. Stitt on Thursday said, “We believe in the federalist system — that’s states’ rights,” adding, “Oklahomans would lose their mind if Pritzker in Illinois sent troops down to Oklahoma during the Biden administration.”

Got my aunt’s funeral this Saturday… family is supposed to be there at 8:30 and the ceremony is scheduled for 11h so I’ll be receiving platitudes from people I don’t know for nearly 3 hours because these things always run late. Really not looking forward to it.

I think the trick was letting it marinate for a whole day: soy sauce, sesame oil, citrus spice mix for fish and vegetables, and some mirin. Then you quickly sear it on a hot pan on all sides. Cut it and add a touch of lemon juice.

Let’s be real: they can detain anyone for whatever reason they can think of because nobody is checking their powers.

I made yellowfin tuna tataki the other day. I was pretty proud of the result and it was super tasty. And the sautéed vegetables and rice noodles made a good side too. I’ll do it again if I get more tuna steaks.

Digimon is even more nostalgic than Pokémon for me, simply because it’s not always there

Also, if you’re making cereal marshmallows or noodles, Polywhirl is a very easy shape to pull off so that helps.

The Orphan Crusher is here to stay. If we don’t feed more Orphans to the Crusher the Orphan Crushing industry will die. It’s time to wake up to the reality of the Orphan Crusher. The Orphan Crusher is worth billions. We need to teach people to use the Orphan Crusher. It’s here to stay.
