Since we’re all talking about mental health today in support of Linus’ courage, I’m re-sharing Joe’s thread on the mental health of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Canada because these are the same reasons why there’s pushback about Reimer’s signing. We aren’t free until we *all* are free.
Tomorrow night's Sens game is their mental health awareness night so as we reflect on today's news, "let's talk" (to coin a phrase) about mental health on the night our newest signing will don his Sens jersey for the first time

This only further underscores how infuriating it is that the professional sports media in Ottawa continues to pretend this isn't a story. At best, it's sloppy journalism presenting a narrow worldview. At worst, it's complicit cowardice from media members who should know better.

Honestly boycotting the World Cup would be the most effective and probably the least disruptive of all of the options available to Europe. I’m not sure how you can send teams and fans to contribute to a spectacle designed entirely to celebrate a guy trying to invade your territory.
