IMO, the play is everyone gets political cover by voting yes on its release and when the time comes, Pammy Jo Bondi at the DOJ was say “Well, wait a minute, these files can’t be released because this is now an active, ongoing investigation” and none of those same republicans will argue it.

This ICE agent created chaos in the Summer in LA. He was then arrested after pointing a firearm at a woman in a restaurant bathroom. He complains how it’s hard to be ICE in the station. He’s since died of a drug overdose.
