The most unsafe I’ve ever felt cycling in DC was this morning, when there were fucking humvees parked on the grass around the CaBi docks and national guard milling about.
I’ve walked and biked DC by myself and it was great and the “we’re manly men!” who are terrified to set foot on the pavement are just peddling racism and violence grifting

I think we need to do it again, only this time not gradually. An immediate elimination of the tipped minimum wage in 2027 would just about align with the original timeline of I-82. The gradual wage increases let restaurant owners scream to the council about it too much, we gotta rip off the band aid
