Man the implication that somewhere deep in our brain there is a “see tiny people all over the place” button and a mushroom can press it, that’s deeply unsettling.
With most psychedelic drugs, you never know what you're going to get. But this mysterious mushroom from China - without fail - causes users to hallucinate tiny people: crawling up walls, popping out from under furniture and marching under doors. www.bbc.com/future/artic...
'They saw them on their dishes when eating': The mushroom making people hallucinate dozens of tiny humans
Only recently described by science, the mysterious mushrooms are found in different parts of the world, but they give people the same exact visions.

You don’t know your role yet maybe, but we are all finding out just what we have to offer.

In Minneapolis, one man knew immediately what he could offer and said “Bring me your clothing”.

my favorite thing about a texas freeze is the very serious advice from the news and government on how to use a whataburger cup to insulate your outdoor spigots.

it is always a whataburger cup.

Some thoughts:

1. The deadline for nominating a person or group for the Nobel Peace Prize is Feb. 1.

2. History professors are qualified nominators.

3. The people of Minnesota have been awe-inspiringly peaceful in the face of state violence.

4. He would be so mad.

Market's insane so I did something I don't usually do: bought some refurbed hard drives (the spinny kind) to shore up a few of my aging ZFS arrays.

They came with 8 years of runtime, 👴🏻 but if you can believe it that's less than the drives they're replacing. 💀

(FYI everything's well-duplicated. 🙏🏻🤞🏻)
