Europe folded, precisely as I predicted. We pay our stubborn refusal to integrate European defence, which makes us dependent on the US for security.

This is the only reason the EU folded.

Exactly 10 years ago Turkey shot down a Russian Su-24 after it violated Turkish airspace near the Syrian border.

This incident became one of the most serious confrontations between Russia and a NATO member in decades. It’s a stark reminder that Moscow’s reckless behavior didn’t begin in 2022.

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.

My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

A Twitter account called Ivanka News tweets an AI image of a young woman wearing Muslim garb. The woman is holding a sign that says "I came here illegally. Should I be deported?"

Ivanka News writes: What is your response to this person ??

In the "About this account" tab, it appears the account is based in Nigeria

An account called MAGA scope writes:

Which policy areas do you have in mind? I see a walkback on green commitments. But that is normal politics, and it is up to the PES to parliamentarize the crisis. I personally think it would be an excellent development because it will create a confidence vote dynamic.

What we might be learning tonight. JD Vance is on the inside with lots of influence over Trump policy towards Russia/Ukraine, while Rubio is kept in the dark.

Vance, btw, might be the most pro Russian/anti Ukraine person in the administration (other than Trump perhaps)

The last few hours have proven 2 terrible things. First, the US and Russian governments are so close that the US government takes large parts of Russian proposals and passes them off as their own, and second that some people are so desperate to exonerate Trump that they act like this a good thing.

This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.
