I have yet to achieve the perfect mixture of humility and bombast required to write a truly epic one-line bio. In the meantime, I'm a freelance #podcast producer/editor at https://particulatemedia.com, a D&D game writer/runner, and courts/law nerd.
I was in the emergency room for a couple hours on Thanksgiving Eve (just visiting), and there were at least three people with boxing gloves of gauze and bandages covering knife wounds.
My anxiety levels around Thanksgiving and Christmas, when people who never cook in any volume capacity suddenly go "Oh yeah, I've got this" shoot through the roof.

I swear I've held a proper cutting class every year at my inlaws.
the risk to reward ratio of stabbing an avocado pit while you’re holding it in your hand is WAY off, imo

They've spent trillions of dollars and countless hours of work writing code and building carbon-spewing data centers to create a plagiarism machine that's no more accurate than the drunk at the end of the bar in 1985 confidently opining on nonsense. It's the circle of bullshit.
You can read about it in the New York Times today, as leading scholars of law and technology from around the country sound the alarm about what happens if the courts permit prosecutors to ignore basic conventions of truth and support on which we all rely. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/25/u...

I refused to actually watch Highlander and instead made Bill and Stephen explain it all to me for the episode.
Happy Thanksgiving! The crew of EnterpriseSplaining is taking a much needed holiday break today from #StarTrekENT, and are instead heading out on away mission to visit the movie that all straight HS boyfriends were forcing their girlfriends to watch in the 90s: Highlander!

One of the many sins of law enforcement propaganda masquerading as entertainment is that it has trained us to believe many crimes are intricately planned by evil, conspiratorial masterminds. In reality, most violence is just "I got pissed off and I had a weapon handy."
i’m seeing talk that the national guard shooting was a false flag and folks, it’s almost never a false flag. it would be more likely that god himself directly commanded the man to shoot them

The "peace president" wants to add another few million to his body count.
NEW: Donald Trump says he wants ACA funds to end after 2025

“I’d rather not" extend them, he tells reporters on AF1. "I don’t want to extend them for two years. I’d rather not extend them at all."

He wants cash to go "directly" to people. Unclear how that'd work.

The president said he prefers to let the Affordable Care Act subsidies expire on schedule at the end of December, saying if anything he wants the money to go to "the people directly."
