I’m not sure people outside the Twin Cites realize the prevalence and the fear ICE is causing in Twin Cities. They are dining undercover pretending to be couples at restaurants, they are going to businesses and checking the license plates of cars to find employees. Every public place is compromised.

I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

Coordinated a beer drop by a white friend to deliver a 30-rack of Hamm’s to a Hispanic friend’s doorstep because his wife wouldn’t let him leave the house to go buy more beer for fear he’d be brutalized by lawless armed masked federal paramilitaries. This is Minnesota community. We take care of us.
