the building is not owned by just a guy, just my unit, but the condo association won't talk to me unless he files some paperwork and getting him to do anything is so annoying that i've never asked him to do this lol

bonus update: my water will be off again today for probably at least an hour but this time my landlord (who is just a guy) let me know and i have prepared by attending to various watery tasks and filling numerous containers with the stuff of life

pro: he does not have the full power of bureaucracy to screw me over
con: i have to pretend like it's fine that he didn't tell me my water would be shut off for maintenance
