if the rear feels like it kicks upward and pushes you forwards a hair when hitting bumps more than just being bumpy, dial the rear preload back a quarter turn and further as needed, it made a significant difference on mine

i also switched to 20w in the forks later on and that was icing on the cake

Ok, this was a fun one to write... By all metrics, a Jeep DJ-5 was already pretty miserable to drive. Then add 1,300 lbs of batteries, limit the top speed to 40 mph, the range to 30 miles, and add a gasoline-burning cabin heater.
