People have asked about this, and we keep forgetting to pin it, but here is a complete (unpaywalled) list of the movies we've covered, in case you've been meaning to jump in with one you've heard about.

Just a whole enjoyable backstory here for a show that officially Does Not Care for Ms. Bure, or for Mr. Mathison frankly.
Leading up to dumb Fathom Events release Great American Family announces a third movie in the Candace Cameron Bure-Cameron Mathison cinematic universe, A SWEET CHRISTMAS ANNIVERSARY, coming in 2026

Gee, I wonder if the wedding happens or not in the movie coming out in 4 days? Mystery for the ages 🙄
Still laughing about what a dumb ego trip this is

Not only is it SEQUEL to low-budget, barely-watched TV movie, but wearing wedding dress on poster and movie originally A HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS WEDDING, yet only vaguely unrevealed story beat: Will wedding happen?

Wish Fathom released box office info

Did find one showing that had multiple seats sold and pretty sure, "Seeing Candace Cameron Bure TV movie, in a theater, alone, on Thanksgiving weekend," might be a sadder one-sentence story than, "for sale, baby shoes, never worn."

Since so many people have asked, yes, we know about the Bills and Chiefs Hallmark movies. They're coming up soon, we promise.

I believe it was also the viewers’ consensus that Buckley was freeballin’ in this scene, for anyone interested
So last night for our live show we talked about "Merry Christmas, Ted Cooper," starring (and story by) Robert Buckley, and we all agreed it was a 5 out of 5. So here's a thousand words on the subject of "Robert Buckley Understands the Damn Assignment."

finally had a chance to listen to this today and it really is an extraordinary episode! it made me think! (mostly about what my role as a rescue dog foster really means but also other things) but it was especially interesting how they came around in the end to see nuance in a Hallmark movie!
Did Hallmark graft a talking guide-dog movie on a grim tale of a woman losing her sight and boyfriend? Yes. Was guest

As a point of order and/or ADHD obsessiveness and/or avoidance: The average runtime of our last 38 episodes (January, 2021-Present) is 77 minutes. Subtract an average of 5 minutes for intro/outro/interstitial music and movie clips, and it's 72. Hallmark originals run anywhere between 83-86 minutes.
At @itschristmastown.bsky.social we don't go in for flashy Times Square billboards. That sort of thing isn't why we watch Hallmark movies and then talk about them in episodes that are on balance longer than those movies. I don't know why we do all that. Also I would never be photographed like this.

Hi! Working on story for Bustle on women who left their big city corporate jobs for "Hallmark" lives, i.e., moved to a small town to open a bookstore, left finance for farm life, dumped a Bay Area tech gig to become a florist, etc. If that's you, I'd love to talk! DMs open, [email protected]

@itschristmastown.bsky.social "guy who didn't understand a hammer" is not the Hallmark alter ego I would have guessed
True comedy is watching Dave Portnay trying to use a hammer

It's worth a future essay, but basically it seems like CandyCams and others fundamentally mistook that the draw was a what, not a who.
@itschristmastown.bsky.social @davidjroth.bsky.social @mobute.bsky.social I wonder how long until Candy Cams comes crawling back to The Crown?

It is uncanny sometimes how good the algorithms are at just, like, recreating a whole you out of something as little as 240 hours of dialogue.

as a Gentile, I always appreciate getting to learn about other cultures, and there are several words tossed around casually in this episode that i'd never heard before. (it's also so funny that sometimes i had to stop listening so i could breathe again.)

Scalded by negative reviews for their first "Hanukkah" movie ("Who Is the Secret Jew Among Us at Christmas?"), Hallmark responded by making a movie that is the MOST Jewish. Naturally, @davidjroth.bsky.social and I made @mauraquint.bsky.social, @ugarles.bsky.social and @andylevy.net watch it with us.
