I've got such fond memories of our Scottish Book Trust bag, it had a book with little stories and poems in Scots that were great fun to read, and I think we also had a CD with songs on it.

It’s Banned Books Week. I think the Diary of Anne Frank is one of the most profound and important books of our time. Also one of the most banned books in America. Not because of the distressing content. She wrote a few paragraphs about crushes on girls and starting her periods.

An incredible article casting serious doubt on claims made by transphobes, about conversion therapy for trans kids. The 1987 publication upon which their claims are based, is thoroughly discredited, it cannot justify the claims it makes.
