Transness, as it exists, is embedded in some pretty fundamental layers of material reality... How can I describe it; @foldablehuman.bsky.social put it best; you can convince someone of flat earth, but then you have to convince them that lagrange points don't exist, or like, the satellites that make

huh I wonder if there's any historical precedence for a conservative religious faction making bed with an ethno-nationalist movement only to immediately get blindsided by its fascist insiders

Okay so we've been having a good time joking around about President Groverhaus and his architectural stylings but I feel even Grover would look at this and say it looks like shit
And now he’s on a posting spree of photos showing the remodeled bathroom. At least half a dozen of these posts so far.

I’m pleased to announce that following our reporting, multiple people have reported that a formal inquiry is being made into SEGM’s accreditation, and that the CME courses are at least temporarily pulled down.
1. Washington State University has credentialed an anti-trans, conversion therapy org SEGM to teach CMEs to medical providers.

The panel is filled with the most vitriolic of anti-trans activists.

Unsuspecting providers may be taught harmful practices.

the liberal Dem establishment is a dying species. it’s wild to see them wither away how they are. they also think they’re raising young little minions like Olivia Juliana to rule after they die, but those dweebs don’t stand a chance either. they’re already just junk for the pile. beautiful
KAMALA HARRIS: I believe he [Biden] was fully competent to serve.

JON STEWART: Do you really?

HARRIS: Yeah, I do.

STEWART: That surprises me, actually.

HARRIS: No, I do. But there's a distinction to be made between running for president and being president.

Has there ever been a fictional character who's even close to this man? Wouldn't happen, it would be too over the top. The audience would be offended

will always be constrained by the class dynamics.

Changing the class dynamics changes the *constraints* of what SNAP; or hell, what any government program to feed people could be.

Where we started with this conversation was me mistaking the descriptions that do not change those dynamics and
We have gotten quite far off the point, have we?

Let's bring it around then. SNAP exists the way it does in a system that has billionaires. Its form and function is materially dependent on that. You can have a system without SNAP with billionaires, you can have a system with better benefits, but it

This chart always makes me think about how we made the streets "safer" by making sure no one goes outside ever, especially kids

In terms of comparative material differences, yeah, you got it.

One is a change in class dynamics; the other is a system with two outcomes allowed under that system.

Would SNAP benefits going through tomorrow (which for the love of god they should) change the class dynamic in a material way?
This country is going to pretend that they're a protected class while saying "sorry trans people, we no longer extend protected status". Watch.

I told my husband about the massacre in Rio and he literally didn’t believe me. Every time I have been to Rio there has been some kind of police massacre in the Complexo de Alemão/Penha (starting in 2007) but I can’t process the scale. It’s a sign of what policing will look like across the world.

"The far-left are defending Graham Platner"

No we're not. That's not true. We've been clearly and openly roasting him non-stop.

In fact last week were in trouble for *not* lining up behind Mr. Nazi tattoo. Make up your minds.
I think we all need to take a moment and identify the fact that the current spat of Nazi apology (Graham Platner) is coming from the far-left, not the liberal base.

The far-left has had a Nazi problem for a long time. Not like the right, at all, but significant enough that it needs to be purged.
