Great news. Now prosecute him, Minnesota.
BREAKING Greg Bovino has been removed as Border Patrol "commander at large" and will return to El Centro Calif, where he is expected to retire soon. A stunning turnaround after Pretti killing. Bovino's traveling blue city crackdown is over www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.

If you're afraid to push back as a journalist because you might lose access, what are you losing access to? Liars who you transcribe? Is that what you dreamed of doing? Have some dignity.

I am begging @democrats.org to read the room. My social media is filled with outrage, including from people who *never* post about current events or politics. I mean NEVER. They are pissed and they are posting "abolish ICE." Abolish ICE is the moderate position.

What's making me really livid right now is thinking back to the years of commentary lecturing us that the rise of MAGA was rooted in a sense of righteous victimization by overbearing liberal elites, and sneering at those who insisted that it was fundamentally about domination and sadism all along.
They are telling us in unequivocal terms that if you show solidarity with immigrants who are in the literal crosshairs of Trump/MAGA, you're risking a death sentence.

We live in a time of such cowardice of elites and the wealthy, but such bravery by average citizens.
So are all those celebrities, business leaders and former Presidents going to say something now or continue keeping their heads down like cowards?

centrists like to use terminology disputes as a proxy battle for actual policy fights, and engaging is often fruitless. if you don’t like the slogan use something else. but the agency needs to be hollowed out, every existing agent needs to be put on no-hire lists, and there need to be prosecutions.

CNN: DHS officials have come to FEMA staff and told them to limit the use of the word ice…they are worried that by posting something like, watch out for the ice, that it's going to become a meme….
