I remember that when it happened the news made its way into the Right Wing outrage machine and got distorted along the way because no one knew who Green Lantern/Alan Scott was, so I had people who knew I was into comics asking me how I felt about the news that they were making *Superman* gay.
I've read a lot of GL/JSA comics and I can say fairly confidently that there absolutely were not, unless you count him not having children with his wife.
James Robinson made the New 52 Earth-2 Alan Scott gay arbitrarily, and that just carried over to the original post-Rebirth.

Someone drew a cartoon pig on a deputy's coffee cup but the LASD is on the case!
Personally, if my boss humiliated me with a press release that said he had called me to "check on my well being" because of a little cartoon on my coffee cup, I would change my name and move to another state.

A friend was over, and we were playing with some of my Star Wars figures. He suggested we line them up and throw rocks at them and I stupidly agreed. Ended up wrecking a couple of them, but Threepio took the most damage and caused the most regret.

I just bought protein spaghetti noodles the other day.
This is so baffling because protein is like….in everything these days. Want protein cereal? Cool, they have it. Protein bread? Sure. That’s a thing now. Protein pancakes and waffles? Those, too.
