Another reason to mask at protests, aside from COVID safety and protection from doxxing, is that a lot of responsible documenters don't want to publish protesters' faces (esp without their consent) right now. Your face being in a shot may prevent people from sharing a worthwhile image publicly.

Happening now: we're at the Broadview ICE facility outside Chicago.

CCSO + Broadview police are telling protesters + press they can't stand on the west side of 25th Street for any reason.

We asked what the precise public safety issue is. They just said they're anticipating cars coming through.

Can someone please explain to me both "free speech zones" and "free speech hours". I don't understand. I thought free speech was allowed 24/7 in all of our country (unless there is a curfew in a broader area, which even still I feel is debatable)
