one thing I learned during 2020 is that "less than lethal" munitions are explicitly designed to be shot into the ground so they lose velocity and bounce up into people and the reason I didn't know that before is literally NO ONE has ever deployed them that way.

나는 지하철에 엘베 설치 필수 아닌게 너무 의문이고
그걸로 시위까지 해야하는 현실도 의문이고
죽어라 안 해주는 것까지도 너무 이해가 안 됨.
건물 몇층 이상이면 엘베 설치 해야하는 것처럼 지하철도 당연히 엘베설치 법으로 정해야하는 문제 아닌가.

20nn년까지 서울 관할 모든 지하철역에 엘리베이터 동선을 만들겠다는 것은 요구안이 아니라 시장의 공언이었다. 말하는 시장의 이름이 바뀌고 nn에 들어갈 숫자만 계속 밀려 왔을 뿐이다.

문득 지나간 타임라인에 흘러가던 말 중에 기억을 뚫고 올라오는 것이 있어서.
이동권 시위의 저의가 '모든 지하철역 엘리베이터 설치'라고 곧이곧대로 믿는 것은 단지 전장연의 구호를 받아적기만 할 뿐이라는 취지의 비판이 있었는데, 막상 전장연의 저 구호 부분은 그냥 역대 서울시장들의 약속을 받아적은 부분에 불과하다는 게 새삼 떠올랐다. 시가 그렇게 하겠다고 했고 그럼 그렇게 하라고 외치고 있는 내용이라.
