right, and the thing about selling out on abortion is that, really, is ezra klein selling anything out himself? no, he's selling someone else out.
but I also think that Klein et al regard "selling out on abortion" as respectable and "selling out on antivax" as tinfoil-hat-humiliating, and that's why the "dems may have to make hard choices . . . like running pro-life candidates" is such a refrain even though it's from another era altogether

I think any story about Trump's autocracy should be mostly about the people and institutions who failed to stop it. This guy isn't a political genius, everything else just happens to be rotten. 'Toddler Consolidates Power In Household' is a story about incompetent parents, not shrewd maneuvering

I just finished Run With The Hunted 4 by @authorizedmusings.bsky.social, and I love how different all of these are.
I have never read a book series that could be as easily adapted into a TV-Show as this.
If you love heist shows like Leverage, you will absolutely love this series of books.
