Trump called Russ Vought the “Grim Reaper.” Now, he’s firing thousands of federal workers who help Americans get the services they need.

Remember: this isn’t about the shutdown—they don’t have to do this.

First they took away your health care, now they’re taking away even more.

Federal contractors—including custodial & food service workers—deserve pay for their hard work.

But unlike federal employees, contractors have no assurance they'll receive backpay when Republicans reopen the government.

Our bill would ensure these workers are not left behind.

The sham indictment of New York Attorney General Letitia James is Trump’s attempt to weaponize the justice system against anyone who dares to hold him accountable. AG James has always led with integrity, upheld the law and defended the Constitution.

Votes cancelled AGAIN!
The Speaker needs to call the House back into session. Republicans want the majority, yet they don’t want to legislate.
Mike Johnson do your job!

Republicans control the House, Senate, and White House. The devastating impacts of this shutdown fall entirely on them.

Minnesotans made this clear at my town hall: Republicans need to end this shutdown and stop their efforts to throw millions off their healthcare coverage.

I'm demanding a thorough investigation into what happened to Frank Miranda, my constituent who was abducted by masked ICE agents without reason.

This behavior is unacceptable and un-American. It has no place in our state or our country.

AG Letitia James did her job in holding the president to account—which a jury of Americans supported.

Now, she’s being persecuted for it.

The president’s weaponization of the DOJ is the hallmark of authoritarianism, and we all must stand up & speak out against this perversion of the rule of law.

Cruel and cowardly.

Republicans are canceling votes yet again instead of working with Democrats to re-open the government.

They'd rather stay on vacation than stand with families, release the Epstein Files, and address the healthcare crisis they created.
A tweet from a report that reads: Scheduling update is official: Votes are no longer expected in the House on Tuesday, October 14th.

While Republicans continue to avoid negotiations on reopening the government, the Senate is still voting.

Last night, our ROAD to Housing Act passed out of the Senate.

We need to give Americans a new way home— passing this legislation is a vital step forward.

Instead of working with Democrats to negotiate a bipartisan spending bill that will reopen government and lower health care costs for working class families, the president is illegally mass firing hardworking civil servants across the country.

It’s shameful.

As a former prosecutor who cares deeply about our justice system, I am deeply troubled by the Trump Administration’s efforts to turn DoJ into the Department of Retribution. Using the power of the federal government to target and intimidate political opponents tramples on the rule of law.

Trump’s public instructions to AG Pam Bondi weren't subtle: He named three public figures he's long detested and urged the DOJ to prosecute them immediately.

Now, less than three weeks later, two of them are under indictment: former FBI Director James Comey and New York AG Letitia James.
How Trump’s message to ‘Pam’ got exactly the results he wanted
Donald Trump has long called for imprisoning his opponents. For the first time, he has a Justice Department willing to do his bidding.

Without health coverage, many will get sicker or skip care entirely.

And let’s be clear: Trump is deliberately firing American workers and gutting the services we all rely on every day.
