Shit are New Rocks that expensive now? My original pair I got when I was 18 cost me £120 from Scorpion Boots in Camden Market. They are long gone (let an ex who was shorter than me talk me into getting rid of them because they gave him a complex), this pair were £50 on eBay

"Take some Picts, Celts and Silures And let them settle, Then overrun them with Roman conquerors.

Remove the Romans after approximately 400 years Add lots of Norman French to some Angles, Saxons, Jutes and Vikings, then stir vigorously.

Mix some hot Chileans, cool Jamaicans, Dominicans, Trinidadians and Bajans with some Ethiopians, Chinese, Vietnamese and Sudanese.

Then take a blend of Somalians, Sri Lankans, Nigerians And Pakistanis, Combine with some Guyanese And turn up the heat.

Sprinkle some fresh Indians, Malaysians, Bosnians, Iraqis and Bangladeshis together with some Afghans, Spanish, Turkish, Kurdish, Japanese And Palestinians Then add to the melting pot.

Leave the ingredients to simmer.

As they mix and blend allow their languages to flourish Binding them together with English.

Allow time to be cool.

Add some unity, understanding, and respect for the future, Serve with justice And enjoy.

Note: All the ingredients are equally important. Treating one ingredient better than another will leave a bitter unpleasant taste.

Warning: An unequal spread of justice will damage the people and cause pain. Give justice and equality to all."

I actually get more annoyed when people say they “just” use AI for their emails or to check their grammar. You’re killing people. For your banal shit. Not for some great discovery or curing cancer. Because you can’t write an email.

Thought going to see Spray tonight might be a good excuse to wear my New Rocks. I love how tall they make me feel. I'm 5'5.5" naturally but closer to 5'10" in the boots.

That's a terrifying thought. But then thinking back, before I came to uni in the super multi-cultural city of Liverpool I had much more provincial viewpoints. No actual -isms but I definitely wasn't aware of my own prejudices because I'd never come across other viewpoints.

This morning I saw a bunch of geese sneaking up on some jackdaws but they kept softly honking to themselves so it didn't work very well
