I feel like, with some exceptions (Rickie Vasquez), bisexuality was a No on network TV for the 90s and early 00s *at least*

It isn’t even about revenge, it’s simply and plainly necessary for democracy going forward that anyone who wants to do what he’s done should understand that they’re looking at serious fucking consequences for it

If we prosecute no one else—and to be clear we should prosecute so many people—we have absolutely got to go after this guy as hard as humanly possible

Stephen Miller is murdering Venezuelans and Colombians in cold blood bc he believes it helps his propaganda campaign to paint Latinos as dangerous.

Stephen Miller views the air strikes as an opportunity to paint immigrants as a dangerous menace, according to one of the White House officials.

I just want to point out (with Childe’s permission) that the VERY FIRST TIME this human ever heard Tina Turner, they, organically & without prompting, spontaneously broke out an actual perfectly cromulent Tina Turner dance in their Halloween mummy pajamas.

(I'm not, AFAIK, AuDHD, just ADHD, but the rage my mother expressed (and still expresses when she brings the story up) when a teacher suggested my brother might be autistic, it was definitely about being judged adhd found wanting by others.

Can't speak for all the people who fear it but from my experience with NT folks who hate it, 1. It can be difficult to deal with if you are a control freak and 2. Any difference in your child is a mark against your soul and evidence you are Bad. (

I don’t exactly how to phrase this, but like… is autism that bad???? Like, why is it such a source of fear??? Of course there are challenges but you can be autistic and have a rich, fulfilling life! Many people do! I don’t understand the preoccupation.

Why does this look like a crossover between Phoenix Wright and that Jesus anime?

The court drawing is as follows:
L: An American Flag, slightly furled
M: The defendant, who looks weirdly like Jesus, including serene expression
R: His lawyer? A person (honestly, gender indeterminate) in a gray suit with a white shirt, long, but stylishly tousled gray hair, and a face with no features but squareish glasses

This - which I explored today - is the kind of thing I live for on walks in the deep countryside: a 200+-year-old abandoned walled garden, totally overgrown and teeming with wildlife and ghosts.

Finding lost magic places like this, untouched and undeveloped, always fills me with weird kind of hope.
The entrance to the walled garden I found today, with its broken door and big ivy hat. An interdimensional portal in the walled garden I found today A hole in the wall of the walled garden I found today, leading to 1785. Ruined potting sheds in the walled garden I found today.

Truly, tell me, how is this different than Jewish and gay people and Romani people being dragged away by Nazis? And didn’t we have some fairly clear agreement to never let that happen again?

I always remind my self-pub authors that they have final say on edits. Some folks almost get rebellious about certain ones — like keeping a misspelling of a word because the correct spelling “looks wrong”.

Also, some editors actually don’t know the difference between, say, site and sight.
tiffaniangus.bsky.social
From the other side of the desk, though: if you read a book and think it needed an editor, be aware that it very well might have had an editor, but (depending on the circumstances) the author has final say and could’ve just ignored the editor’s advice. Readers don’t know a book’s history.
