People on r/fantasy keep asking “Why is modern fantasy all so UNORIGINAL and BORING,” and I immediately assume they must not be reading, say, N.K. Jemisin or Vajra Chandrasekera or Simon Jimenez or Premee Mohamed or anything published by Neon Hemlock, and frankly that sounds like a them problem.

Iirc (and unless they changed this in the remaster, idk) Worker 8 and the other roebits have the Atheist status effect permanently, so even if you raise their Faith, it's still counted as 0.

As someone who has played an awful lot of AD&D, I can attest that accidental death & dismemberment is a pretty big part of the experience.

Having save vs death insurance coverage would've been pretty nice.

learning from my new job that the official (like, printed on company internal benefits documents) abbreviation for the "accidental death and dismemberment insurance" coverage is "AD&D"

A series of illustrations depicted Hornet and Shakra from hollow knight silksong redesigned as humans with their design motifs translated into clothing and armor.
