This is everything it should be - meticulously researched, deeply thought out, uncomfortably probing, scrupulously fair, AND ALSO outrageously entertaining.

This is how progressives should tell stories. An hour flew by.

Today's ruling on the EHRC's interim guidance is a disappointing, confusing and mixed picture.

A trans woman who is a customer in a café can use the women's toilets, but if she works there she might not be able to.

Once again everyday life is being made a legal labyrinth for trans people.

Just a reminder, Hilary Cass is not an expert in health care for trans and gender incongruent kids, she's never worked with them at any time in her professional life.
All 13 expert peer reviews have uncovered methodological flaws, bias and contradictions and her review is fit only for the bin
Hillary Cass was invited to NI to review gender services here and her report is now out. She's lying about trans kids again

If you were trying to come up with more harmful guidance towards trans and non-binary young people you would be hard pressed to find it. The fact it is backed by Cass shows how wrong it is.
We are already seeing an increase in suicide rates among trans young people.

The entire Tavistock scandal was over 8 complaints. They've fucked the entirety of trans and non binary peoples, because of 8 complaints, all of which have not materialised into anything as far as I can tell.

Vetting can ignore anything if you don’t want to find something that might make you question your own judgement.
our FT story from June 2023 showed:

Mandelson stayed at Epstein’s $77m townhouse in Manhattan in June 2009 while the financier was in prison for soliciting prostitution from minor

in 2010 and 2011 Epstein noted that “Petie” was with him in Paris, where the financier owned a sumptuous apartment

Under Starmer, recognised refugees can no longer reunite with their children.

Recognised refugees.

Denied the right to reunite with their children.

It’s diabolical. Worse than anything the Tories did. & no, the racists are not & never will be satisfied.

So yes, he’s hated.
What these “but why do people hate Starmer SO MUCH” takes come down to is so shallow.

Starmer doesn’t sound or look like a firebrand so what’s the big deal?

Immune to questions of SUBSTANCE - he’s liar, enabled a genocide, pandered to anti-migrant politics & global Fascism.

I expect the extreme right to lie. But I'm exhausted when I see the left editing images, using AI and misrepresenting things. The truth is enough, we don't need to stoop to the level of liars and tyrants.

The social contract is broken.
The rich get ever more comfortable, while the rest of us have to work harder for less than ever.
We expected a Labour government to do more to change this.
It has to change.

Streeting reminds me of a weasel that got stuck in a jar of Vaseline. I don’t think name-calling is appropriate, unless the individual is unworthy of respect. The minister’s action in ignoring warnings that his policies would lead to suicides amongst trans kids, puts him in the category*.
This is the funniest headline I seen in a long time. And bravo to whoever underlined the desperation with the juxtaposed link.
