For those of you who haven’t been following this fight, Ana has been leading the charge against censorship by corporations, specifically payment processors.

Recently it seems someone figured this out and has managed to black list them from almost any way of earning a living as an artist.

When you Learn about People, you learn everyone is a bit "difficult" and surprising in their own ways. That's why games with too much quality of life are a fool's illusion. Anti-human... Anti-life... The dreams of "convenient" self-isolation.

Being in the world IS just navigating surprises

I feel like a honking tryhard douche for using phrases like "Game Literacy" but it's kinda one of those things right like you just need to know like "Oh hey some games use difficulties as warning signs and encouragement to explore other places" and now you can *make* a decision.

Like I don't think it's even wrong to criticize the start of DS1 or w/e it's not perfect, but it's a modern assumption that if you can go somewhere, this is content ideal for you now. More and more people stop learning to listen to their virtual pain receptors and give up their agency.

Motivated pullers can get it in the first 20 pulls. It's about determination and intent. "Unfair" is a negative mindset holding you back from getting the units with your free 10-pulls.

You ever get a nostalgic hankering for some FPS hobby-grade coop campaign; genre blended, multi-mode competitive e-sports; meta-growth, choice + epic BATTLEBORN heroes?

This is a hole that the game's industry really needs to fill. Sorely lacking!

"internalizing that your life is mostly over when you reach 35 is going to fuck you up when you get there" like, true but an equally important skill to learn for your thirties is to accept that anime is made for teens and so you kind of have to mentally filter canon ages through 19-year-old vision
