A service I haven’t offered in a while:

If you know someone who _would benefit from_ having someone explain immigration policy to them for an hour, or be here to ask questions, or whatever, hit me up via DM.

“Would benefit” = not just “change my mind” but “actually work to inform/persuade others.”

There has been no draw down today. ICE snatched someone off Central Ave out of his car because he looked Latino before then letting him go a couple hours later. They were stopping people in Blaine on highway 65, they were all around Fridley, and were in the parking lot of the St Anthony liquor store

amazing how yet another round of "you have to promise you'll vote for the shitbag years in advance" reveals itself to have nothing to do with strategy and pragmatics and everything to do with "i am scared and anxious and everyone on the internet needs to promise me everything will turn out alright"

While I think it’s a good sign that we can still successfully pressure companies into being slightly less evil I don’t think this move is enough to save the industry as a whole, the public is growing ever warier of surveillance-based services

You need to understand that for every store that gets out, there are easily 5 more. There are segments of la frontera that are known as death valleys because of the difficulty of maintaining hydration and CBP‘s institutionalized culture of destroying water sources left behind by crossers & activists
CBP didn’t give her or anyone any water; she asked 3 times accg to other reports. CBP killed a 7yr old.

“8 hours after the girl & her father were taken into custody, she began having seizures & her body temperature was measured at 105.7 degrees by emergency medical technicians. shorturl.at/d2OTJ

No. absolutely the fuck not, no. A citizen is a citizen is a citizen. Prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. Bury their asses under legal filings forever. But what we are NOT GONNA DO is fascist stripping people of citizenship, only leftishly.
Democrats should promise, today, that Melania Trump, Elon Musk and Peter Thiel will be stripped of citizenship and deported if the administration advances this effort
cool, cool. so we are sort of like citizens, but not really?

i can remember how in the 80s and the 90s, imelda marcos’ shoe collection was a shorthand for comically naked thievery and corruption and now we have a first family who literally shat in golden toilets
one of the things that’s harder to see while we are in it, but will jump off the page at future historians, is how deeply corrupt *the entire trump family* is, and how they abused and and manipulated every lever of the federal government they could grab to steal everything that isn’t nailed down
