I think Its fair to say I don't really expect Netflix to put their money with their mouth is one the "Pro-Consumer, Worker, Creator" part of this, but at the same time they fact they are even trying to say something like in times like this is better than the alternative

I'm glad you mentioned Mortal Kombat. As someone who played the original as a kid, the last installment I saw (which at this point was probably around 10 years ago) had fatalities that I actually found so disturbing that I stopped playing. And that's a major release.
