It happened to me with Disco Elysium, and it was weird because I really liked the writing and I should have been wanting to find more but, after a bunch of failruns that still felt like complete stories, the one that got to the end felt definitive. Afterwards I was just clicking around and I stopped

True that. We don't have any proof, yet. The conjectures are solid enough, there could be proofs of it easily discoverable, it would warrant an investigation BUT sadly the people that could and should investigate it are, apparently, allegedly, involved.
Nice mess, am I right?

It's the "elephant in the room" antivaxxers think that AI is smart and can understand metaphors. When they get the output they don't question it because unlike people AI is unbiased. They look at this picture and tell themselves: yes, that must be exactly what I meant when I wrote that prompt

For anyone lamenting how some goon was able to get a publishing deal - put together your own book! Create a solid concept, do some planning, create a design, and pitch it! Most publishers don't have open pitch seasons. They want to see someone that can see a full project to completion.

It worked only with Fastweb (don't know if then others followed suit, it was all about dynamic IPs)

Anyway we can "thank" smartphones and their early adopters

If they wanted to sell their iPhones et all to everybody then everybody had to have access to internet

It's kinda crazy how for the longest time it was kinda of a luxury and the suddenly everybody had it. Kudos to Fastweb that openly marketed it as the best way to pirate (boosting emule) and watching movies/series online as it could circumvent Megavideo's 72' min limit

Hegsenth: I want domestic abusers back in the army because I can't trust someone who doesn't beat his own wife to also beat other people

He may be a villain but he's an honest one

Fully agree, in one of his first appearances, if not the first, in an Avengers annual he owns and teaches in a training agency for henchmen, totally legit, meaning he does taxes, and honestly he looks above tax fraud.
Then he works for the government (training the new Cap), those paychecks are taxed

Theirs are miserable and the only way they see to improve it is to make everyone's worse, so theirs will be better by comparison

Only thing I can think of

A) thanks for sharing, that's a very touching and sincere slice of life comic and your art/storytelling are already quite good!
B) as a former white collar turned blue I second your shootout so much, every job has its hardships! We are all united in the struggle!

Yeah, more people

Is there anything worse than people?

You won't (and don't have to either) believe me but my late cat used to love "Turbo lover"

No no, I remember that part, inescapable and insufferable global marketing campaign, it lasted years. Or so it seemed. Weird that nobody did a Titanic-spoof by the way. Still I didn't watch it for years as all that noise ended up repelling me too

Anyway one thing I noticed is that outside the "it's awkward" part the other criticism is "It doesn't advance the plot" and I wonder if it's the real problem. Nowadays people seem to see it as the ultimate sin. I wish I could elaborate it better but I relate this to listening to stuff at 2x

To each his own but this kind of discourse reminds me I'm not watching much of late (let's say the past decade 😅) and I'm wondering the same, the blockbuster scene in particular is entirely devoid of it but then I remember I didn't watch Games of thrones and I'm told it was full of it so...

Wait, I'm confused, out of the loop, my joke detector broken.
So I'll ask: what's about boycotting Titanic (1997)?

Anyway let's keep those two pages and bring those interviews up every time someone talks about "male loneliness epidemic" as I swear every kid suffering from it is exactly this one guy and that is exactly their story.

What if the underwear was haunted?

No, wait, it was a joke but now I wish I was capable of making a videogame with strong feminist themes that's also about haunted men's underwear...

I wonder if it's common lore in that congregation, passed down from pastor to pastor, or if it's something they came up in a pinch.

It's still sexist and misogynist as hell, presenting the woman body as a horse scaring monstrosity but it sounds so funny, something Ned Flanders would tell his kids

This one made me chuckle sensibly
Reddit post screenshot. OP too is wondering why male top nudity is ok but women aren't allowed to.
In a hilarious reply a user argues that, according to their pastor, god, in his infinite wisdom created areolas so they'd look like giant eyes to ward off predators.
Women having usually larger ones have to cover them to not scare horses

What I mean is: American writers at the time could have not thought there was actually a difference between the two terms

Always been slightly confused too. But then I remembered that in the 80s in the media "race" and "nationality" were kinda interchangeable, and then "nationality" and "faction" were interchangeable too. So, Russian (for example) was a race and a faction, Idem American.
