Early Gen X is the last generation to see what building adequate housing even looks like (construction everywhere, all the time).
If we even attempted to build enough, there are two generations of adults who would say we are overbuilding and try to slow it. Housing is cooked for a long time.

I don't see how Tesla's Model 3 can survive if Benz can offer an alternative EV this cheap, with this kind of performance, on top of the 15% tariff that it's charged in the US.
