One thing that didn't even occur to me until today was that there might be things in the Epstien files about Trump that were worse than I could have imagined. I had simply never considered the possibility that my opinion of Trump could go down.

Any advice that's presented as a "hard rule" is bad, IMO. Nearly every good story does something that's normally considered "wrong" but works for the story they were trying to go for.

as far as I can tell, the only piece of evidence that "Democrats would be center-right in Europe" is that Democrats mostly don't want to nationalize big chunks of the economy and there are some countries in Europe where major parties on the left still at least pretend to want it
